Alicante debuteert onder Abdel Saïd
OPGLABBEEK – De op Veulenveiling Prinsjesdag-geveilde KWPN-goedgekeurde hengst Alicante (Casall x Indoctro) heeft zijn debuut gemaakt onder de olympische springruiter Abdel Saïd. De topruiter uit Egypte nam recent de teugels over van de Belgische Chloé Vranken en bracht Alicante uit op de internationale tweesterren wedstrijd in Opglabbeek.
Alicante werd in 2005 geboren op Stoeterij ’t Maalwater en is een zoon van tophengst Casall Ask. De hengst werd internationaal opgeleid door Julia Kayser en werd vorig jaar verkocht naar de stal van Tal Milstein. Chloé Vranken bracht de hengst de afgelopen maanden met succes uit voor Milstein en topruiter Abdel Saïd heeft nu de teugels overgenomen. In Opglabbeek sprong de schimmel elke ronde zonder springfouten en daarmee kenden Alicante en Saïd een geslaagd debuut.
The Prinsjesdag-sold KWPN-approved stallion Alicante (Casall x Indoctro) made his debut with olympic rider Abdel Saïd. The world-class rider from Egypt took over the reins from the Belgian rider Chloé Vranken. Saïd rode Alicante at the CSI2*-show in Opglabbeek.
Alicante was born in 2005 and bred by Stoeterij ’t Maalwater. His sire is the top stallion Casall Ask, who is still performing successfully at the highest level. Alicante was produced at international level by Julia Kayser and was sold to Tal Milstein last year. Chloé Vranken rode the stallion successfully at international level for the last couple of months and now Abdel Saïd has taken over the reins. At the show in Opglabbeek Alicante jumped every round without a rail down. An excellent debut for Alicante and Abdel Saïd!
