AUCTION EMBRYO MYLORD FROM SISTER QUOD'COEUR EXTENDED DUE TO EC

This week the auction of the embryo of Mylord Carthago out of Tsarina de la Loge, the full sister of Quod'Coeur de la Loge, started on www.embryoauction.com. Reason for extending the auction is Quod'Coeur's participation next week in the European Jumping Championships in Aachen for France with rider Roger-Yves Bost.

The initiators of www.embryoauction.com consider the extension a good way to keep up with current events: 'Initially, the auction was to close next Sunday, August 16. But what we would like to emphasize is the connection with top sport. It is unique to be able to buy an embryo from a full sister of a horse that will compete in the EC next week. If Quod'Coeur actually comes to the start and shows what he has to offer, that also says something about the value of the embryo that we are auctioning. That is why we give interested parties the opportunity to watch the European Championship.'
The embryo is a combination of excellent sport genes from Holstein and France via Mylord Carthago and the full sister of Grand Prix show jumper Quod 'Coeur de la Loge, who already won three 1.50/1.55m classes in Madrid in the first half of this year, Amsterdam and Rotterdam with Roger-Yves Bost.
The sister in question is called Tsarina de la Loge and descends from Ideal de la Loge, the stallion with whom 'Bosty' won numerous Grand Prix and participated in the European Championships in Windsor 2009. Tsarina herself is classified 1.20m. Her dam Fana de la Loge (Tenor de la Cour) is a half sister of the 1.60m show jumper Lolita de la Loge, the internationally classified Canasta de la Loge and the approved stallions Messire de la Loge and Heureka de la Loge.
The Olympic stallion Mylord Carthago comes from one of the best jumping damlines in France and also proved his innate talent at the highest level in the jumping ring with Penelope Leprevost.

Jos Lansink insures Cumano embryo

The first sale via the new auction website www.embryoauctions.com is a fact. The embryo of former world champion Cumano and the Grand Prix jumping mare Parabel (Animo) was sold for 16,000 euros to Jos Lansink, who achieved great success with the famous gray stallion.

“A purchase based on emotion,” admits Lansink. He is looking forward to the foal to be born in 2016 and bred by Ton Vullers of Embryo Animal Center. “I don't normally buy foals, let alone embryos. But this story is also not normal. I have a bond with Cumano. There are already few descendants of him and there are not many to come. What's left of him jumps above average. So for that reason alone I think this is an interesting gamble, especially because the dam herself was a top sports mare.”

Whether Jos Lansink (54) will drive it himself in the future remains to be seen. “Perhaps I will still drive, but I don't think at a top level anymore. But I'm sure someone else will look after it too?”, he laughs. “Hopefully I'm lucky with this purchase!”

The online auction of the second embryo will close next Sunday at 8 p.m. This descends from Mylord Carthago out of Tsarina de la Loge (Ideal de la Loge x Tenor de la Cour), the full sister of the Grand Prix show jumper Quod'Coeur de la Loge ridden by Roger-Yves Bost..

The embryo that will be auctioned the following week is from Vagabond de la Pomme out of Jesprit's Girl (Quidam de Revel), a half-sister of the top stallion Montender (Contender x Burggraaf),

Via www.embryoauction.com, the National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag offers embryos that contain the very best genetic material that can be found in the world. From stallions that excel in international sport or have proven to inherit an above-average sport aptitude. But even more importantly, from dam lines in which sports performances in direct line are very strongly anchored. Whoever wants to excel in sport depends on breeding. Embryoauction.com is an auction site that empowers buyers to secure tomorrow's winners.

Up for auction: Embryo by Mylord Carthago out of full sister Quod'Coeur

Auction this week www.embryoauction.com the first embryo since the start of the site, a Cumano from Parabel (Animo x Ahorn) who at the time was second with Marëille Schröder in the Grand Prix of Amsterdam. The current price on the auction site is 9,000 euros, but the auction ends next Sunday at 8 p.m. On Monday August 10, embryoauction.com will also start a new auction, this time an embryo by the top stallion My Lord Carthago out of Tsarina de la Loge, a full sister of Roger-Yves Bost's Quod'Coeur.

Excellent sport genes have thus been brought together here via Mylord Carthago and the full sister of Grand Prix show jumper Quod'Coeur de la Loge, who already won three 1.50/1.55m classes in Madrid, Amsterdam and Rotterdam in the first half of this year.

Budget Day offer reflects contemporary

Given the motto of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag, 'The Power of Performance', it is logical that the majority of the auction foals descend from stallions who have proven themselves in sport and/or breeding. Take Kannan, Cornet Obolensky, Cumano, Numero Uno and Toulon or the younger generation Zirocco Blue, Vagabond de la Pomme and Quickly de Kreisker.

Then we also have foals by E-star, Global Express VDL and Etoulon VDL, very promising young stallions who are at the start of a great career. But Prinsjesdag looks even more at the quality of the dam's line than with performing sires. It must be infused with the performance genes. Never before has there been such a strong collection of foals based on sporting achievements with family in the direct line.

In an earlier report, Baloubet's offspring at Prinsjesdag and a number of other top progenitors such as For Pleasure, Verdi and Casall were discussed. But there's more! For example, four foals by the popular Olympic stallion Cornet Obolenky have been selected. Including a colt out of a half sister (by Lord Z) of the Grand Prix stallions Action Breaker and Quasimodo van de Molendreef. The selected colt by Quasimodo van de Molendreef x Mr.Blue is out of the full sister of the 1.60m Grand Prix show jumper Okometa, who was ridden by Jurgen Stenfert.

Comme il Faut, who performed fantastically with Marcus Ehning, son of Cornet Obolensky out of Olympic and European champion Ratina Z, has a son in the auction from a niece of the famous Grand Prix showjumping stallions and sires Toulon and Vancouver d'Auvray. Also beautifully bred is the Plot Blue x Darco out of the full sister of the world famous jumping mare Sapphire of McLain Ward.

A unique foal, born via the ICSI method, is from the former world champion Cumano, who has been infertile for years, out of the Grand Prix jumping mare Parabel (by Animo). A colt by Arezzo VDL x Lasino has been selected out of the half-sister of the international 1.50m show jumper VDL Groep Zapfier (Mathijs van Asten). A Kannan x Lux is bred out of the full sister of the Grand Prix mare Utascha SFN, who unfortunately suffered a broken leg last week and had to be put to sleep.

Quickly de Kreisker, who jumps the most difficult Grand Prix clear in Moroccan service, has two foals in the auction. One of them is out of the full sister of the BWP stallion Dulf van den Bisschop. The other is out of Winning Girl (Numero Uno), a daughter of the full sister of Carthago Z.

The two sons of the number two in the 2015 World Cup final, Vagabond de la Pomme, come from the damline of the Grand Prix show jumper B Once Z (Katharina Offel) and the Oberlina pedigree respectively. Also unusual is the son of Vivald'Ick, who herself comes out of a half-sister of Glock's London, out of a half-sister of the 1.60m show jumpers Electra and Falco van 't Roosakker.

Eight-year-old Cidane, sold to America last year and now neutered, is represented by a daughter bred out of a half-sister of the golden Olympic show jumper Vindicat (Guidam). Vindicat's tribesman is also the Toulon x Emilion. From the same dam line as Cidane come the Dakar VDL x Indoctro, who is closely related to the 1.60m show jumper Ornike, and the Clarimo x Heartbreaker, a grandson of the Grand Prix showjumper Audi's Reflection.

Bred out of the niece of Eldorado van de Zeshoek, who performs so well with Willem Greve, is the E-Star x Quite Capitol. The E-Star x Rubens du Ri d'Asse is a half-brother of the Grand Prix horse Oak Grove's Heartfelt (Rolf-Göran Bengtsson) and a grandson of the famous 1.60m Grand Prix jumping mare Ta Belle van Sombeke.

Some foals have also been selected from the first crops of young stallions. A pearl among the fillies is F One USA from Larthago (Carthago), who already produced five approved stallions, including the Grand Prix stallions Harley VDL and Cevin Z.

You can buy champions at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag

Looking for a champion in the future? Foal Auction Prinsjesdag has already been able to auction many of these and shared in the joy of Dutch Young Riders champion, Denise Nekeman (photo) last Sunday. Her nine-year-old Boston STH (Johnson x Quattro, breeder JW Temmink from Vorden), sold through Foal Auction Prinsjesdag, danced with force majeure through the arena in Ermelo and was unbeatable with 76,70%.

This year, the selection committee again selected potential dressage champions, including two half-brothers from Boston STH. Father Glock's Johnson TN won silver at the National Championships for seniors on Sunday with 82,13% in the freestyle to music and secured a team spot at the European Championship with Hans Peter Minderhoud. Last year, the imposing Jazz son was already part of the golden team at the World Equestrian Games in Caen.

The Johnson sons up for auction come from Vertu Heroique (Gribaldi) and First Lady (Negro). The elite mare Vertu Heroique, a half sister of the NRPS-approved stallion Suarez (Sandreo), is the champion of dressage mares at the Central Inspection of Overijssel in 2005. First Lady is a five-year-old elite mare out of the Z2 dressage horse Adelaide (Tuschinski), who is known as a half sister of the Grand Prix dressage horse Lester (Triton) of the Finnish Pia Verjonen. Her grandmother Fantasie (Ramiro Z) competed at Z1-level dressage and is a half-sister of the Small Tour dressage horse Doreen (Ulster).

Brother of Erludine DVB
A direct son of Jazz is being auctioned, bred out of the elite mare Zarludine (Ferro x Rubinstein). It is a full brother of the very talented NMK mare Erludine DVB, who scored 86 points for her IBOP and last year won two Subli Cup preselections with 88 and 88.4 points and finished sixth in the Pavo Cup. Zarludine also produced the five-year-old dressage talent and VSN finalist Four Seasons (Vivaldi). In addition, four foals were selected that were bred out of a Jazz daughter.

Four of Negro
We often come across the blood of the Olympic stallion Ferro in the collection, if only through the four colts of his son Negro. One of them was bred out of the well-known Zhara Obertje (Jazz), champion of the National Mare Inspection in 2007. This full sister of the Grand Prix dressage stallion Tango has meanwhile been classified Prix St.Georges. Also interesting is the Negro out of Glamour-Esther SVN (Totilas), who scored 80/80 at the studbook inspection and took fifth place at the CK. Glamor-Esther SVN, bred out of the line of the Grand Prix mare Sisther de Jeu, is a half sister of four Small Tour and two Z1 horses.

Negro is also registered twice as a mother's father. With a Johnson foal mentioned earlier and with a filly by Lord Leatherdale out of the ster preferent Urona (Negro). This Urona already produced an international junior horse: Corona (Tuschinski) ridden by the Belgian Kate Wiggins.

Five by De Niro
Prinsjesdag is auctioning no fewer than five offspring of the German champion stallion De Niro. The stallion of De Niro out of Jazz mare Tsarina B is interesting. She is a half sister of Grand Prix dressage mare Reine B out of a dam line that is also steeped in dressage. Also attractively bred are the two products from the dam line of the Grand Prix dressage mare Nadine and the approved Dorado: Coosje van Johnson is responsible for the only daughter of De Niro, Gerard Vervoorn brings in a stallion out of Bertolonia van Santano.

Also not unmentioned should be the product of Pegasus Stables. This mare by Don Schufro is a dream for every dressage breeder and rider. Dam Borendy of Painted Black is a direct family of top dressage horses and approved stallions Zuidenwind, Zhivago and Charmeur.

Prinsjesdag Foal Auction starts auction site with embryos

Through www.embryoauction.com the National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag will be offering embryos from August 2015. These embryos have the very best genetic material available in the world. From stallions that excel in international sport or have proven to inherit an above-average sport aptitude. But even more importantly, from dam lines in which sports performances in direct line are very strongly anchored. Whoever wants to excel in sport depends on breeding.

Foal Auction Prinsjesdag has been auctioning embryos on the third Tuesday of September for years. With the rapid developments in breeding, Prinsjesdag offers a new platform for marketing embryos in the form of www.embryoauction.com. Because embryo transfer and ICSI are changing modern breeding, there is also a need for a different form of marketing. Where a few years ago a single embryo was sold through the foal auction, in recent years a wide range of embryos has arisen in which genes from proven stallions and mares have been crossed with each other.

Chairman Arjan van der Waaij is proud of the new Prinsjesdag auction site: 'The idea of embryoauction.com arose during the previous edition of the foal auction. We saw the number of embryos in the auction increase every year. The breeders offered better quality, but at the same time we had the feeling that it didn't fit on auction day: there was nothing in the track when you auction an embryo and that almost destroyed the atmosphere. But we did notice that the demand was high with corresponding prices. So what do you do then? We have looked at other initiatives in this area and believe that there are opportunities. That is why we have developed www.embryoauction.com in recent months. In view of the offer we encountered in the market, there is certainly a need for such a platform.'

Prinsjesdag has been applying very strict criteria for years when compiling the annual foal collection. 'The Power of Performance' is the motto and it monitors performance inheritance in the direct maternal line, proven or promising sires, development, a functional exterior and functional movement. With the embryos on www.embryoauction.com, the bar is raised even higher when it comes to performance inheritance. Only the very best European top material is good enough. There is worldwide interest in such strictly selected gene material. The aim of www.embryoauction.com is to connect the worldwide demand with the supply of top material from European breeders. Not just on the third Tuesday of September, but all year round.

Anyone interested can register on this website. For more information: info@embryoauction.com or call +31-(0)342440100.

Wimphof's Hinde also on CH De Wolden at the top

DE WOLDEN – The top auction of Prinsjesdag in 2007 Wimphof's Hinde proves to be well worth the investments of owners EJ Rienks and C. Kramer. Under Marriët Hoekstra, the appealing Berlin x Heartbreaker mare jumped to sixth place in the CSI2* Grand Prix of CH De Wolden. In the ranking test on Friday, the only eight-year-old descendant of the Balia family already finished fifth.

“Wimphof's Hinde is my absolute dream horse! The second day we finished fifth in the 1.45 m ranking class after two clear rounds. We already thought: 'It couldn't get any better', but Hinde really gave everything in the Grand Prix as well! Another double clear and a sixth prize! What a world horse! A dream week for all of us”, horsewoman Marriët Hoekstra is delirious about the breeding product of Haras de la Vie. With her genes, fantastic model, but above all excellent jumping qualities, Wimphof's Hinde is exactly what Prinsjesdag stands for: The Power of Performance!

The Arc de Triomphe (Triomphe de Muze x Calvados), auctioned on Prinsjesdag, also performed very well in De Wolden under Frank Schuttert. The breeding product of the Van Straaten family was eighth in the Grand Prix.

Boston STH and Denise Nekeman convincing Dutch champion

ERMELO - Boston STH and Denise Nekeman proved their class last weekend by becoming Dutch champions among the young riders. The nine-year-old Johnson son showed his enormous potential again and Denise Nekeman showed her top talent. Boston STH was bought as a foal by the Nekeman family at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag 2006.

After Boston STH and Denise Nekeman had already won the first Dutch National Championships component, the Freestyle to Music was convincingly won by the breeding product of JW Temmink from Vorden. With a whopping 76,60% – and almost 4% ahead of the number two – the Johnson son earned the championship title. “What a great weekend! I am so very proud of the one and only Big Boss! What a cannon it is”, Denise Nekeman sounded extremely enthusiastic afterwards. “We ended our last year with the young riders with a blast! Now Boston will get a few days of vacation and then we will practice hard for the U25.”

Prinsjesdag congratulates rider Denise Nekeman, her parents and owners of Boston STH Mr. and Mrs. Nekeman and breeder JW Temmink with this great success!

Boston STH and Denise Nekeman became Dutch young rider champion! With an exceptional score of 76.60% the son of Johnson won the Freestyle to Music and the gold medal at the Dutch championships for young riders in Ermelo. Boston STH was bought by family Nekeman at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag 2006.

A huge congratulations to rider Denise Nekeman, her parents and owners of Boston Mr. and mrs. Nekeman and breeder JW Temmink!

Prinsjesdag opens up with offspring Baloubet du Rouet

Baloubet du Rouet and the Prinsjesdag have a lot in common: they both stand for performance and quality. In addition, many Baloubet foals were sold on the third Tuesday. Last Sunday, the five-star Grand Prix of Falsterbo was won by Bonne Chance CW (photo), daughter of Baloubet du Rouet, who was auctioned as a foal by Prinsjesdag.

The only nine-year-old superstar of Janike Sprunger thus earned 66,000 euros, after she also showed a top round in the Nations Cup. The breeding product of HJF van Loon from Hooge Mierde, who had Bonne Chance CW (ds. Cambridge) auctioned in 2006, also won the 1.50m Grand Prix of CSI3* Busto Arsizio and Vejer de la Frontera earlier this year.

No auction on Prinsjesdag passes without the offspring of Baloubet du Rouet being part of the collection. Also this year with four direct children and six grandchildren through his sons Balou du Rouet (3x) and Chaman (2x) and as mother's father (1x).

pearls
One of the many gems is the colt of Baloubet du Rouet x Opium, whose grandam is the 1.60m Grand Prix show jumper Sterrehof's Ushi (by Vigo d'Arsouilles) ridden by Julia Kayser. And what about a Baloubet du Rouet out of the well-known Krista (by Polydor), the dam of the winner of the World Cup final Taloubet K with Christian Ahlmann?

The popular progenitor Balou du Rouet is auctioning a daughter of BMC Octavia (by Jus de Pomme), former winner of the Grand Prix of CSI Twente with Jurgen Stenfert. An Edinburgh stallion from a daughter of Balou du Rouet is also being auctioned, the stallion that was also auctioned at Prinsjesdag at the time.

From the Baloubet son Chaman, very successful under Ludger Beerbaum, there is a daughter for sale out of the full sister of the Olympic show jumping stallion Tinka's Boy (by Zuidpool) ridden by Markus Fuchs. We see this mare line again more often in the collection, because a Levisto Z filly has been selected out of the 1.50m jumping mare Vantiels Esprit (by Baloubet du Rouet), a half-sister of Tinka's Boy and also mother of rising star Carrera VDL .

For Pleasure
Baloubet du Rouet took part in the Olympic Games twice with Rodrigo Pessoa and came home with an individual gold medal (2004) and team bronze (2000). A stallion who is not inferior to him in terms of sport and inheritance is For Pleasure, the winner of team gold at the Olympic Games in 1996 and 2000. And Prinsjesdag has also selected two foals from him: a For Pleasure son comes out of Gracelottie B (s. Nabab de Reve), a niece of Olympic show jumper Vindicat W (by Guidam), who won team gold in 2004 with the British team.

Genetically also very interesting is the offspring of Glock's London (2x and dam's sire 1x) and Berlin (2x), two top stallions who won the necessary medals with Gerco Schröder. London's regular teammate VDL Groep Verdi TN is represented in the auction by a son of Kicky Queen (Voltaire), the dam of the 1.60m Grand Prix showjumping stallion Tyson ridden by Leon Thijssen and half sister of the Grand Prix showjumper Nirvana ridden by Annet Willems. One of the many mare lines that shines with performance!

Finally, the name of Rolf-Göran Bengtsson's Casall ASK should not be missing from the list of top performing sires. The stallion who performs at the highest international level is represented by a stallion and a filly, both from very interesting dam lines.
