Hannelinde TC wins VSN, Hummer second

ERMELO – The products of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag dominated the VSN final for dressage horses in Ermelo today. Hannelinde TC (Dream Boy x Sunny Boy) won the VSN final with no less than 53 points, including a 9.5 for trot! The success for the horses sold on Prinsjesdag kept coming, because Hummer (Charmeur x Daddy Cool) achieved a fantastic third place with 51.5 points.

Dream Boy daughter Hannelinde TC came up for auction at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag in 2012 and is closely related to the Grand Prix horses Uiver and Pavarottie. Hannelinde was bred by GAEM van der Linden from Vlierden and currently owned by Tim Coomans from Oud-Beijerland. Jury members Tineke Bartels, Imke Schellekens and Dana van Lierop rated Hannelinde TC with a 9.5 for trot and 9's for canter, rideability and general impression. The Dream Boy daughter also received a 9 from guest rider Dana van Lierop after riding over.

Hummer (Charmeur x Daddy Cool) comes from the breeding of J. Duivenvoorde from Alkmaar and is a son of the mare Caresia, the half-sister of the KWPN-approved stallion Dream Boy – also the sire of winner Hannelinde TC. Hummer is owned by JJ Schalekamp from Dordrecht and scored 51.5 points in the final. For his canter Hummer scored no less than a 9.5 and for trot and general impression Hummer received a 9!

Today two horses sold at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag dominated the VSN final for 3-year-old dressage horses in Ermelo. Hannelinde TC (Dream Boy x Sunny Boy) took home the VSN-title with an incredible score of 53 points, including a 9.5 for trot! But Hannelinde TC was not the only successful Prinsjesdag-sold horse: Hummer (Charmeur x Daddy Cool) earned fantastic third place with 51.5 points.

New step for Chris van Dam / EQ International

After having worked for 25 years at EQ International, it is time for a new step in Chris van Dam's career.
As of December 15, Chris van Dam is no longer working at equestrian organization agency EQ International, which is known for events such as Outdoor Gelderland, Jumping de Achterhoek, CSI Salland, ICNN Drachten and various auctions, including Foal Auction Prinsjesdag and Grand Prix Sale. The agency will be continued by Nataly van Eykel and Mariska Gerrits, who have been co-shareholders of EQ International since 2008. They know the ins and outs of organizing equestrian events and will divide Chris' tasks among themselves. In addition, they will make use of third parties for certain matters, for example in the field of facilities. In addition, Chris will remain involved on a project basis in a number of specific projects of EQ International, including, for example, Foal Auction Prinsjesdag. Casall-son Cascador EB to Den Bosch

ERMELO – The successes of the Prinsjesdag stallions at the KWPN Stallion Show in Ermelo just keep on coming! The very striking Cascador EB (Casall x Lavaletto) of Jan Vink of Black Horse Stud convincingly earned a ticket for the second viewing in Den Bosch.

Cascador EB, bred by LVP-Stables from Drongen, jumped from start to finish with extra reflexes, technique and commitment. Its charming exterior also convinced the jury. Cascador EB comes from a fantastic dam line: dam Princess IV already produced the 1.50 m show jumper Fascination, grandam Hagitta already produced the Holsteiner Verband-approved Grand Prix jumping stallions Casario I and II and great-granddam Ragina is also the dam of the famous stallions Concerto I and II.

ROOSENDAAL - The six-year-old topper in the cap in Edinburgh (Vleut x Darco) achieved a good third place last night under Kristian Houwen in the Blom Stallion Competition in Roosendaal. The breeding product of EJ Meijer and G. Lindeboom was auctioned at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag in 2009 and has been approved by the KWPN.

Edinburgh, the nephew of celebrity Tyson, stands out time and again with his lightning-quick reflexes, technique and athleticism. Under Kristian Houwen, the Vleut son has already won the stallion competition twice and with a third place in Roosendaal, Edinburgh is once again in good shape this year. Congratulations to the breeders and owners Jos Houwen and Jos Althuyzen!

Inferno de Landetta through to second viewing

ERMELO - The Untouchable son Inferno de Landetta earned a ticket today in Ermelo for the second viewing of the KWPN Stallion Inspection. In 2013, the gray bred by Landetta Stud was auctioned at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag. The handsomely modeled stallion is owned by SVK Holland and Stal Steeghs.

Inferno de Landetta is a son of the Grand Prix show jumping stallion Untouchable and comes from the well-known Freiminka line. Dam Uminka jumped successfully at 1.30m level herself and grandam Aminka jumped internationally at 1.45m level. Inferno de Landetta convinced the jury with its handsome model and good jumping style.

The Untouchable-son Inferno de Landetta earned a ticket for the second round of the KWPN Stallion Show today in Ermelo. In 2013 the stallion bred by Stoeterij Landetta was auctioned at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag. The handsome stallion is owned by SVK Holland and Stal Steeghs.

Inferno de Landetta is a son of the Grand Prix stallion Untouchable and comes from the famous Freiminka-damline. Thrilling win for Bonne Chance CW in Coupe de Genève

GENEVA - The wonder mare Bonne Chance CW phenomenally won the prestigious Coupe de Genève this afternoon with her top Swiss rider Janika Sprunger in the imposing Palexpo hall. The nine-year-old Baloubet du Rouet x Cambridge mare was auctioned in 2006 at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag.

With her bronze team medal at the European Championships in Aachen this year and her victories in no fewer than three Grand Prix, including the five-star GP of Falsterbo, Bonne Chance CW was already the prime example of the motto of Foal Auction Prinsjesdag: the Power of Performance. This victory at one of the world's most beautiful indoor competitions CH Geneva reinforces the enormous track record of the only nine-year-old Bonne Chance CW.

The wonderful mare Bonne Chance CW and her Swiss rider Janika Sprunger achieved an impressive victory in the Coupe de Genève at the impressive Palexpo hall. The nine year old Baloubet du Rouet x Cambridge mare was auctioned at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag 2006.

Two Prinsjesdag dressage stallions to second viewing

ERMELO – On the first day of the KWPN stallion selection for dressage stallions, the stallion selection committee referred two stallions auctioned at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag to the second viewing. Igor H (Fürstenball x San Remo) and Idono Pavlovna (Sir Donnerhall I x Krack C) both convinced the jury.

Idono Pavlovna is owned by AJ Keppel and Team Nijhof and is closely related to the KWPN-approved stallion Bordeaux and the Grand Prix dressage horse U II ridden by Gunter Seidl. Igor H is owned by Van Olst Horses, BC van der Hoorn and JJ Schalekamp and comes from the direct dam line of the Grand Prix dressage horse Knock Out.

Alicante debuts under Abdel Said

OPGLABBEEK - The KWPN-approved stallion Alicante (Casall x Indoctro) auctioned at the Prinsjesdag Foal Auction has made his debut under the Olympic show jumper Abdel Saïd. The top rider from Egypt recently took over the reins from the Belgian Chloé Vranken and competed Alicante at the international two-star competition in Opglabbeek.

Alicante was born at Stoeterij 't Maalwater in 2005 and is a son of top stallion Casall Ask. The stallion was trained internationally by Julia Kayser and was sold last year to the stable of Tal Milstein. Chloé Vranken successfully released the stallion for Milstein in recent months and top rider Abdel Saïd has now taken over the reins. In Opglabbeek the gray jumped every round without jumping errors and with that Alicante and Saïd had a successful debut.

The Prinsjesdag-sold KWPN-approved stallion Alicante (Casall x Indoctro) made his debut with olympic rider Abdel Saïd. The world-class rider from Egypt took over the reins from the Belgian rider Chloé Vranken. Said rode Alicante at the CSI2* show in Opglabbeek.

Alicante was born in 2005 and bred by Stoeterij 't Maalwater. His sire is the top stallion Casall Ask, who is still performing successfully at the highest level. Alicante was produced at international level by Julia Kayser and was sold to Tal Milstein last year. Chloé Vranken rode the stallion successfully at international level for the last couple of months and now Abdel Saïd has taken over the reins. At the show in Opglabbeek Alicante jumped every round without a rail down. An excellent debut for Alicante and Abdel Said!

Success horse Anoraline sold abroad

The successful dressage mare Anoraline (Samba Hit x Amiral) was sold abroad by owner Michelle Eveleens. In 2005 Eveleens bought the successful Small Tour mare at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag in Ermelo. Anoraline performed successfully under Engie Kwakkel, Sander Marijnissen and Diederik van Silfhout.

Anoraline is none other than the half-sister of the famous Grand Prix stallion Scandic ridden by Patrik Kittel and was trained up to Z-level by Michelle Eveleens herself. “A ten-year adventure that started on Prinsjesdag 2005 with the purchase of this half-sister of the KWPN stallion Scandic”, says Eveleens about Anoraline, nicknamed 'Noor'. “After I trained Noor myself to Z-level at the age of six, the reins were taken over by Engie Kwakkel, Sander Marijnissen and Diederik van Silfhout. Thanks for the training, the effort and all the successes! It is and remains a fantastic horse with such a nice character. We are going to miss her!”

Anoraline has had a successful career with, among other things, a victory in the pre-selection of the Pavo Cup in 2010, the victory in the Subli Cup final for six-year-olds in 2011, a fourth place at the Dutch Indoor Championship ZZ-Zwaar in 2013, a silver medal in the Dutch Outdoor Championship Small Tour in 2014 and various international classifications in Rotterdam and Arnhem.
Michelle Eveleens still owns two promising Anoraline daughters, namely Glamouraline (by Johnson) and Ironaline (by Negro).
