Prinsjesdag jumping stallion O'Neil vd Bisschop appointed for KWPN performance test
Foal Auction Prinsjesdag also had several great successes at the KWPN Stallion Inspection in Den Bosch this year. In the jumping direction, Prinsjesdag was appointed O'Neil vd Bisschop, who was auctioned in 2014 for the KWPN performance test. O'Neil vd Bisschop was bred by the De Craene family from Melle and owned by Ben van Mierlo from Koningslust.
O'Neil vd Bishop (Diamant de Semilly out of Jade vd Bisschop of Ogano Sitte) showed his jumping talents in Den Bosch; O'Neil has good impulsion, a lot of scope and seems very careful. His dam line is also very interesting: dam Jade is already jumping at international 1.40m level and is a daughter of the Grannus mare Priscilla. This mare is the foundation of famous international show jumpers such as Holland van den Bisschop (Remco Been), Estina (Samantha McIntosh) and the approved stallions Dulf van den Bisschop, Arizona and Maestro van den Bisschop.
Subsequently, Foal Auction Prinsjesdag was also represented several times in the Blom Stallion Competition. In the L class jumped the extremely talented Hernandez TN (Kannan out of Bea-Leva elite IBOP(spr) sport(spr) by Numero Uno, breeder Willem Dekker, Benningbroek) under Zoï Snels to a nice fifth place in the final standings. Also the also sold on Prinsjesdag Highlander (Numero Uno out of Ditty Dante C elite IBOP(spr) by Vingino, breeder MAM Lamers-Couwenberg, Helde) showed himself well in the final under Kristian Houwen and jumped convincingly clear.
The top talent Edinburgh (Vleut out of Olympic Queen keur performance sport(jump) by Darco, breeders EJ Meijer & G. Lindeboom, Dalfsen) jumped clear in the 1.40m VHO Trophy under Kristian Houwen. The only eight-year-old stallion then showed his talent in the jump-off and signed for a nice third place.
