On the basis of the results of his offspring he is the best sire world-wide, exceeding Cornet Obolensky, Diamant de Semilly, Baloubet du Rouet and For Pleasure. Kannan owes the fact that he is ruling supreme to a large number of his products that is doing excellently in the international showjumping sport, such as Olympic champion and World Cup winner Nino des Buissonnets. Also at the WC in Caen in 2014 he was well represented by his offspring, Molly Malone finishing in 7th and Nino des Buissonnets in 11th place.
