Foal Auction Prinsjesdag closes registration procedure
The National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag has completed its last selection days and the registration procedure has ended. 54 jumping foals and 38 dressage foals have been selected from very interesting bloodlines.
“We are very pleased with this year's offer. The quality is again very high and perhaps even better than previous editions," says NVP chairman Arjan van der Waaij.
Last year 96 foals were auctioned, currently 92 have been selected. “Should we come across an exceptional foal that we are not allowed to let go, we still have a few Wild Cards to forgive.”
In the dressage direction, both younger and proven stallions are represented, such as De Niro, Vivaldi, Johnson, Glock's Toto jr, Governor, Ferdeaux and Ferdinand. In the jumping direction there are foals from the Grand Prix top stars Glock's London, Chaman, Comme Il Faut, Cornet Obolensky, Kannan, Plot Blue, Quickly de Kreisker, Vagabond de la Pomme and Levisto Z and from younger promises such as Dakar VDL, E -Star, Etoulon VDL and Latour TN.
Anyone who wants to view all the foals is most welcome during the photo/video days at Equestrian Center Gert van den Hoorn in Kootwijk. The show jumping foals will be photographed on Friday 31 July, and the dressage foals will be next on Saturday 1 August.
