Striking Prinsjesdag dressage talents
Last month there were again good performances by horses that were auctioned as foals at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag. Several dressage horses have achieved sensational results. Amazone Dominique Fillion made a wonderful debut in the ZZ-Zwaar with the Winters Grand Amour, bred by Jan and Ans van Oort. With this generous United son she immediately scored more than 69% at the Subtop competition in Den Hoorn, which earned them the second prize. Another debut took place at Indoor Brabant, where 25-year-old Denise Nekeman took part in the World Cup for the first time with Boston STH (Johnson x Quattro B, breeder Jan Temmink). Their trial yielded 67.9% and many valuable experiences. It was subsequently announced that the rider will also be part of the KNHS Talent Team this year thanks to the good performances with Boston STH. More dressage news comes from Denmark, where the stallion LA Zonik (Glock's Zonik x Goodtimes, breeder Doet Lievaart) owned by Andreas Helgstrand has also been selected for the KWPN for the Danish performance test.
