Bonne Chance CW and Janika Sprunger reserve for Rio

After last season's very good performances, Janika Sprunger and Bonne Chance CW have been designated as reserve combination for Switzerland at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro next month. The ten-year-old Baloubet du Rouet mare Bonne Chance CW was auctioned in 2006 at Foal Auction Prinsjesdag.

For a long time it looked as though Bonne Chance CW and Janika Sprunger would be part of the Swiss base team, but Chef d'Equipe Andy Kistler has chosen Steve Guerdat, Martin Fuchs, Paul Estermann and Romain Duguet as his first four riders .
