PRINCESS DAY FORMS THE ADVANCED OF PERFORMANCE BREEDING
The National Foal Auction Prinsjesdag is at the forefront of the strongly developing performance breeding. The latest developments in top sport and the top breeding required for this are contained in a magnificent collection of 77 top athletes that will be auctioned on Prinsjesdag, 20 September, in the KNHS Center. In addition, six very exclusive pregnancies will be auctioned by auctioneer Hans Sinnige.
Of the stallion Nabab de Reve, the sire of Eurocommerce London who won no less than 320,000 euros in the Global Champions Tour last Sunday in Rio de Janeiro, no fewer than three offspring will be up for auction on Prinsjesdag. The colt Niro de Landetta (s.Nabab de Reve) is also bred in the same damline as Cha Cha Z (Carthago x Beach Boy), who finished sixth in Rio under Judy Ann Melchior. The other two Nabab offspring are a beautiful filly out of the full sister of Numero Uno and a fantastic colt out of a Numero Uno dam from the unsurpassed Leva line.
The Prinsjesdag auction also follows the developments at the Bundeschampionat. There the Toulon daughter Toulouse was the impressive champion of the six-year-old show jumpers. On Prinsjesdag, the blood-made Goldplay, son of Toulon x Corland, will be auctioned. This fantastic colt goes directly back to the Grand Prix mare Isabelle (by Voltaire).
The Prinsjesdag auction also keeps its finger on the pulse in the dressage arena. Florencio distinguished himself again in Warendorf with some excellent dressage horses. On Prinsjesdag, Gazz, an impressive son of Florencio out of a star daughter of Jazz x May Sherif x Doruto (three times a top supplier for the Grand Prix), and the wonderfully moving Gerona LE (Jazz x Triton) are among the items on offer.
Finally, it should not be forgotten that the wealthy Prinsjesdag foal Gorgeous Vurona has the top stallion Fürst Heinrich, who died early, as father, just like the new Bundeschampion Fürstenball.
